Culin Asia Buffet in Kaiserslautern

It's time to give this place a fair review. Been here multiple times after discovering it a few months back----since they were the only Buffet open during this time of pandemic anywhere in/around the O.C. that serves Oysters (over crab legs for me) 1st tip for you viewers is not to come here on a weekend unless you really have to. Their weekend all day dinner prices are $2 more than weekdays dinner but all the menu are the same. Speaking of the menu now, it is very limited, some of the dishes that you see in the photos are obsolete. I don't understand why they couldn't find a way to serve Salmon sashimi for example and settled with serving just Tuna most times. They also have very limited vegetable selection but the broccoli salad is good... I find myself mixing it with the tuna sashimi and call it Poke. They have crawfish, snails, clams as delicacy seafood menu. They're crab legs and oysters come in (for dinner) Their dessert options are very lacking as well, they've got the usual orange slices, melon, (sometimes) pineapples and yellow kiwi but they also have papaya slices in there as well as some jello and grapes in the fruits section. The pastry side of desserts they've got the Flan (which is their best dessert imo) some dry and old looking cream puffs, some biscuits and a few other small square cakes (pretty tasteless) except for the rare coffee cake that they sometimes serve. All in all its a decent buffet place, dinner prices during weekdays was at $18.xx tax included per head. $20.xx Friday-Sunday all day.

I sent my friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is flavorable and the team is attentive and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we enjoy a delightful time. I recommend this place with pleasure.

At first the place was amazing then when they closed around Mother’s Day in 2019 we were sad but then they remodeled and it looks so much better now. There shrimp that is stuffed with cream is amazing. They have there own section where you can cook food you pick out what you want to eat then they cook it for you I have never ever found something like a price of hair or anything like that in there food. Overall I think it is a good place that is my opinion but it is up to you weather it is good or not

This place is amazing, you treat the workers with respect they return the favor. All u can eat Asian food, u can't go wrong

Very glad it is still open during COVID! Good system in place too. I hope they have more Vegetarian or Vegan options in the future tho! Possibly Vegan fried tofu? Crispy salty spicy tofu? Overall, good food and great experience

Love the service it's amazing and the food delicious really love how they treat you they treat you with good quality and the best part is the amazing people that work her are super nice and would come to the table to serve you that's what I love would recommend to people who want to come ☺️

This buffet has the most delicious foods and desserts. I strongly recommend it to anyone in Orange County...peace out

Each time I visit, the staff is most welcoming. The buffet is cleaned OFTEN and all safety measures practiced to prevent spread of Covid-19. The food is fresh and dishes ate changed out often. The price is affordable and this buffet is actually on my TOP 5 buffets list. I travel regularly and dine at many buffets. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Went there twice, in result won.t go there again, just somehow, not recommended, their foods are like ok ok~so so~ so it.s not all that great..much variety but very ordinary. waitresses looked too young, not looking very professional, great interiors though.. I really don't like the awkward variety, whether it's Chinese or Japanese, and I'd rather just eat sushi and go out.. But sushi is just not good... You can.t try this place, but honestly think to yourself~would i come back here next time? Overall i would give maybe 6 out of 10, not going there next time, bye bye?

Can't wait to go back to Asia Buffet. Soon but right now it's closed. I enjoy the changes lots of color some places don't have the family Atmosphere I enjoy so much. The min it opens up I'll be there. I would recommend family and friends and yes they have items for kids as well.

I visited Asia Buffet 3X this year for lunch. I feel that lunch price is affordable for people on a budget. I got there early so liked the food as as a 1st impression on visit one. They have my favorite fish & green veggies that will cost me more to prepare at home. On my 3rd visit several months ago I saw something that is being done in an open area that made me think what goes on in the preparation area? Towards the end of lunch hour there is an older Asian lady standing guard by the food area. She was making sure to clean food around the buffet that missed the plate being scooped by the customers. The lady put the spilled food back in the tray instead of throwing it away using the same serving spoon. They are not friendly but that does not bother me cause sometimes that is a cultural thing. What bothers me it is not sanitary so I have not return since then.

Does anyone know when they will open by chance?

This place constantly delivers. They have fresh food for fair pricing, there no long wait even when they are packed.

Would definitely recommend trying this place. Exceptional atmosphere, yummy dishes, fantastic customer service. They never disappoint.

They are actually very nice. I wasn't able to visit before because of remodeling. But it's done now and the place looks a lot more modern. The food tastes fine and the service isn't as bad as one would expect. Over all it's an amazing place to go.

Is a wonderful place to enjoy a good variaty of sea food and many others. The attention is excellent.

Had a great variety of really good dishes. There walnut shrimp was my favorite.

The place looks better now that they have renovated. More food selections and love it.

Usual seafood buffet with Asian flavor. Enough variety for everyone in your party. Do recommend the green tea ice cream. The wait can be long for big parties. Upward 45 minutes! So get a ticket as soon as possible. Decent service. Ah the place can be hard to find. It is next to the Krikorian theater in the back of the mall.
